
Jeff Dabbs began his career in investments in Fort Worth, TX as a financial analyst for Q Investments, LP. In 1996, Mr. Dabbs moved to San Antonio and joined the team at Kercheville & Company as a senior equity analyst. From 1998 through 2007, Jeff worked with Joe Kercheville as assistant portfolio manager and equity analyst for Blanco Partners hedge fund.
Jeff Dabbs is a Chartered Financial Analyst ("CFA"). The Chartered Financial Analyst is a professional designation given by the CFA Institute that measures the competence and integrity of financial analysts. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management and security analysis. The CFA Institute is a global, not-for-profit organization dedicated to developing and promoting the highest educational, ethical and professional standards in the investment industry.
Jeff graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and later earned his Master of Business in Finance from Texas Christian University. Jeff is actively engaged with charity organizations and leadership roles within the community. Mr. Dabbs serves as President of Moonlight Fund, a nonprofit organization aiding burn-victims and veterans returning from overseas.
